Welcome to Program Diary! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Program Diary mobile application ("App") operated by Kshethra Melangal ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the App.

1. Use of the App

Program Diary is a tool that allows you to store, organize, view, and export program information. You are solely responsible for the content you add to the App.

2. Permissions

The App requires certain permissions to function properly, including:

• Internet Permission: This permission is used for potential future features and does not currently collect any data.
• File Storage Permission: This permission is used to store and manage program data on your device.
• Advertising ID Permission: Used to deliver personalized advertisements and measure ad effectiveness.
• Run Foreground Service: Allows the app to perform tasks even when it's not actively visible.
• Full Network Access: Required to communicate with our servers and download necessary data.
• View Network Connections: Used to check for internet availability and optimize performance.
• Prevent Phone from Sleeping: Enables the app to complete long-running tasks without interruption.
• Access to AdId API, AdServices Attribution APIs, and AdServices Topics API: These permissions are related to advertising and allow us to deliver more relevant ads and understand their performance.
• Other Permissions: Our app may also request additional permissions as needed to provide specific features and functionalities. These permissions will be clearly explained to you within the app before they are requested.

3. Data Ownership and Responsibility

All data entered and stored in the App belongs to you. We do not collect, access, or store any of your program data on our servers. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

4. Google Drive Usage Policy

Program Diary utilizes Google Drive to provide backup and restore functionality for your program data. When you choose to use this feature, the following applies:

• Data Storage: Your program data is stored in a dedicated folder within your Google Drive account. The folder name is "ProgramDiary".
• Data Access: The App will require access to your Google Drive account to create, read, and write files within the "ProgramDiary" folder.
• User Information: To facilitate the connection to Google Drive, the App will access basic user information associated with your Google account, such as your name and email address. This information is used solely for authentication and to identify your account.
• Data Restoration: During the restoration process, the App will read the contents of the "ProgramDiary" folder to list available backup files for you to restore.
• Data Privacy: We do not collect, access, or store any of your program data or Google account information on our servers. All data remains within your Google Drive account.
• User Control: You have full control over the data stored in your Google Drive. You can delete or manage the "ProgramDiary" folder and its contents at any time.
• Revoking Access: You can revoke the App's access to your Google Drive account at any time through your Google account settings.

5. Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption that may occur while using the App. We provide the App "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.

Furthermore, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from:

• The use or the inability to use the App;
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
• Any other matter relating to the App.

You expressly agree that your use of the App is at your sole risk.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
